01 · Supply chain capabilities

What we source.

Beyond manufacturing, we coordinate complete supply chains for customer assemblies — sourcing standard hardware, specialty components, and managing multi-supplier deliveries.

Standard hardware

Fasteners, bearings, etc.

Standard hardware sourced from approved suppliers — fasteners (DIN, ISO, SAE), bearings (SKF, NSK, FAG), bushings, springs, seals. Customer-specified manufacturers honored.

Specialty components

Customer-specified

Specialty components per customer specification — pneumatic actuators, motors, sensors, electronics. Sourced through customer's approved supplier list.

Sheet metal

Stamping, laser, formed

Sheet metal components from specialty fabricators when needed. Stamping, deep draw, complex forming beyond our internal capability.

Forgings

Custom forgings

Forging supply through forging suppliers when needed. Particularly for high-volume forged components.

Castings

Investment, sand, die

Casting supply — investment casting, sand casting, die casting through specialized casting suppliers.

Stampings

Progressive die

Stamping supply for high-volume sheet metal components requiring progressive die tooling.

Plastic injection

High-volume

High-volume plastic injection molded components from specialized injection molders.

Custom electronics

PCB, harnesses

Custom electronic assemblies, PCBs, cable harnesses through electronics partners.

Specialty processes

Heat treat, plating, etc.

Specialty processes (NADCAP heat treat, hard chrome plating, etc.) coordinated through qualified suppliers.

02 · Supply chain benefits

Customer benefits.

Reduced supplier count

From 10-20 suppliers to one — managing one is much simpler

Single PO/invoice

One purchase order, one invoice, one accounting entry

Single delivery

Consolidated shipment vs multiple shipments from multiple suppliers

Quality consistency

Single quality system applied across all supplier work

Inventory simplification

Single inventory point vs distributed across suppliers

Reduced internal labor

Customer purchasing/QA labor reduced significantly

Risk transfer

Supply chain risk managed by us, not customer

Approved supplier compliance

Customer's approved supplier list respected and maintained

Documentation chain

Single documentation source for entire BOM

FAQ

Supply Chain questions.

Kitting: combine sourced components into ready-to-assemble kit. Supply chain management: broader — includes sourcing logistics, supplier management, multi-tier procurement. Kitting is one service within supply chain management. Customer can use kitting alone (we receive parts they ship us) or full supply chain management (we source everything).
We respect customer's approved supplier list. For specific component categories, customer often has approved manufacturers (e.g., "use only SKF bearings", "PEMCO threaded inserts only", "Loctite 243 threadlocker"). We source per customer specification. Standard hardware (no specific brand) sourced from our approved suppliers if customer doesn't specify.
Transparent pricing — customer sees: (1) Manufacturing cost per part. (2) Standard hardware cost per item. (3) Specialty component cost. (4) Coordination/handling fee (typically 5-10%). Customer can audit pricing vs. direct supplier pricing if needed. We add value through coordination, quality, single-vendor convenience — not through hidden margins.
For ongoing programs, we can hold inventory: (1) Customer-funded inventory (consigned). (2) Buffer stock for production smoothing. (3) Long-lead-time component inventory. Inventory cost typically 15-25% annual carrying cost. Customer decides on inventory strategy — we accommodate.
We manage all vendor relationships for sourced components: (1) Vendor performance monitoring (delivery, quality). (2) Quality issue resolution with vendors. (3) Cost optimization with vendors. (4) Contract management. Customer doesn't need to interact with vendors — we handle it. For critical components, customer can establish direct vendor relationship if preferred (we still coordinate logistics).
Supply chain risks handled: (1) Multi-source qualified for critical components — alternative suppliers identified. (2) Inventory buffers for high-risk items. (3) Vendor financial monitoring. (4) Geographic diversification (China + alternative regions where appropriate). (5) Contingency planning for supply disruptions. We carry supply chain risk so customer doesn't have to.
