Flame retardant tradeoffs?

Bromine: highly effective but environmental concerns. Phosphorus: less effective but more sustainable.

Color additives?

Pigments (insoluble) or dyes (soluble). Pigments more lightfast. Choose per UV stability needs.

Cost impact?

Glass fiber 30% loading raises cost ~50%. Premium additives (UV, flame) add $1-3/kg.
