Average 4 hours during business hours (Wuxi time: 8 AM–6 PM, Mon–Sat). For RFQs received outside business hours, first response typically within 8 hours of next business day. Complex multi-part assembly RFQs may take 24–48 hours for complete quote. Simple single-part RFQs often responded within 1 hour.

Yes — included on every quote. Our engineers identify tolerances tighter than needed (cost drivers), wall thickness problems, feature accessibility issues, material concerns. This is valuable even if you don't order — we've seen customers use our DFM feedback to redesign for domestic manufacturing. We do this because it builds trust and catches problems early.

STEP (.step, .stp) preferred — universal format. Also: IGES (.igs), Parasolid (.x_t, .x_b), SolidWorks (.sldprt), Pro/Engineer / Creo (.prt), Inventor (.ipt), Fusion 360 (.f3d), Catia (.CATPart). For drawings: PDF preferred, also DWG and DXF. If you have mixed files (native CAD + PDF drawings), send all of them.

Yes for 80% of parts — CAD alone is sufficient when tolerances are general and features are obvious. Drawing required when: tight tolerances specified (±0.01 mm), GD&T callouts, surface finish requirements below Ra 1.6 µm, critical features or datums, special heat treatment. If uncertain, send CAD only and we'll request drawing if needed.

Cost drivers: material volume + machining time + setup + finishing. For typical parts, CNC machining time is 40–60% of cost, material is 15–25%, finishing 10–25%, setup+overhead 10–20%. Production quantities benefit from amortized setup — this is why quantity matters for per-unit pricing. We explain cost drivers in quotes so you can DFM to reduce cost.

Yes — 1-part quotes welcomed. Economic note: $100 shipping and overhead floor applies, so a $40 1-off part becomes $140 landed. Most customers order 3–5 parts at a time to spread this overhead. Quote will clearly show per-part vs shipping costs so you can decide if bundling multiple parts in one order makes sense.
