Yes — delta-E < 5 typical for Pantone-matched anodize on aluminum. Exact color matching depends on substrate alloy (6061 takes dye differently than 7075), anodize layer thickness, and dye chemistry. For critical brand colors, we recommend sample approval on your exact material before production. Pantone matching on powder coat is even more precise — delta-E < 2 achievable.

Yes — we achieve premium cosmetic quality. Bead-blasted + anodized aluminum matches Apple's cosmetic standard. Space grey, silver, gold, rose gold color matching. Mirror-polished stainless also available. Key practices: consistent bead-blast media and pressure, controlled anodize bath conditions, dye quality control, seal control to lock in color. Our premium consumer customers validate this quality.

Consumer electronics cosmetic tolerance requires careful handling. Inspection criteria: no scratches, no dings, no color inconsistency, no visible machine marks, no edge burrs. We inspect every part visually under standard viewing conditions. Parts with cosmetic imperfections are rejected — not shipped. Acceptance criteria: per customer specification, typically "Grade A" cosmetic (no visible defects at arm's length viewing).

Typical ramp: 50–500 prototype units for engineering validation → 1,000–5,000 pilot production → 10,000–100,000+ production. We handle the full range. For production volumes above 50,000, some parts may move to investment casting (metal) or injection molding (engineering plastic) for cost reduction — we can consult on DFM-for-production transitions.
